ProjectSimple is free project manager software developed by Danish company Adept.
The idea behind ProjectSimple is to have a free project manager, similar to Microsoft Project suite, which allows you to plan, manage and keep track of a project. In fact, the program allows you to open Microsoft Project files, and even export ProjectSimple files to MS Project format.
Opening the program, you may face some problems. Even if you used project management applications before, you will have hard time setting up your project data. There is no user guide or tutorial included, that can help you get this software started. It will take you a long time clicking and testing trying to guess what you actually should do.
You can set up a time frame for the project, add resources, their time and assign them to tasks, make a burn down chart (it is favourable for a project to use the Agile method).
However, non-intuitive interface, long time of setup might be the reasons to try other project management software first.
